Why I don't use platforms- Platforms, like YouTube and Patreon, deduct 30% from every type of fan contribution (Super Chats, Channel Memberships, Patron Memberships) before passing it along to the creator. Furthermore, creators must wait 60 days before they receive their total contributions, provided the payout threshold is met.
